Can't wait to move to my first condo next month. :) My color theme is muted purples and deep, golden yellows. (Hence my reupholstered chairs)

I changed my mind and reupholstered my chairs again. I love how easy it is to change just the seat of a chair and how much of a difference it makes. Love my new pattern. The left is before, right is after.

Just discovered a pretty cool website hosted by a color designer who definitely has a great eye for it. Design Seeds allows you to browse or find a specific color palette based on one color of your choice. Jessica has not only put together a beautiful website, she also has a fantastic blog and a really well organized Pinterest.

I fell in love with this idea, reblogged from Design Sponge. Prettypegs replaces the boring cheap legs from ikea furniture... I guess it would work on other furniture as well.  It's so simple yet makes a huge difference.

Last week I posted the samples that were to be used in my client's bathroom. Today I finally had the chance to go over and take some pictures. It looks so much better in person where the pink really shows. We'll be painting the bathroom door in the same pink as well.

I recently discovered a tile store right down the street from my place that offers creative textured and graphic tiles. Ramacieri is a designer's haven. Whenever I am looking for a tile that will make a punch, it's the first store that comes to mind.
